Mazowieckie wydanie002

The Mazowieckie Voivodeship encompasses an area of 35.6 thousand km2, what makes it the biggest region in the country. At the same time, it belongs to the most internally diverse voivodeships in the country. It is formed by: the Warsaw metropolitan area with the biggest city in the country – the capital of Poland – Warsaw, which plays not only a dominant socio-economic role, but also it is the main transport hub for Europe.

Mazovia has the largest population potential among the voivodeships. Against the background of Europe, Poles are a relatively young, well-educated, thriving and creative society. This concerns the population of Mazovia in particular.

Mazovia is situated not far from the European capitals. It is just two hours by plane to Paris or London and over an hour from Berlin. The developed network of frequent air flights and railway lines to the main European capitals makes Mazovia and Warsaw easily accessible.

Mazovia is a good idea for both, a weekend in the countryside that touched the imagination of the great romantic composer, Frederick Chopin, and to do business in. It is also a chance to explore the fascinating Polish culture, listen to jazz in the clubs of Warsaw and try specialities of the Polish cuisine.
